Action-packed day from the get-go! I took Leyth and their crew out on the waters of Sturgeon Bay, WI for a summer fishing adventure with Lure-In Fishing Guide Service. As we set out in the late morning, the partly cloudy skies provided perfect conditions for our Lake Michigan excursion. The air was warm, and the water looked promising as we headed to our first spot. Sturgeon Bay's reputation for great fishing didn't disappoint, and we were eager to see what the day would bring for Lure-In Fishing Guide Service.

With our gear rigged and ready, we started with some trolling to cover more water and increase our chances of finding active fish. As we moved along, we switched things up by jigging in some promising areas, keeping our techniques varied to entice the smallmouth bass we were after. The smallmouth were hitting on finesse baits and drop shots near rocky flats, while largemouth responded well to spinnerbaits and soft plastics tossed near vegetation. With clear skies and light winds, we were able to cover water efficiently—and the fish didn’t disappoint.

Spring walleye fishing on the Fox River in DePere/Green Bay, Wisconsin. Right now I am jigging in the river catching an assortment of fish. Mostly walleyes and catfish. I am using spinning tackle and fishing with a jig and minnow combination. Right now the limit is three walleyes per person per day. No size limit until February 29th. Starting March 1st it goes to one walleye per person per day over 28 in until the opening day which is the first Saturday in May. Then I am fishing in Green Bay. The limit of walleye is 5 per person per day minimum size 15 in. Call to book your spring walleye fishing trip.
